Lisp Engineer - AGI Development

SentientWave is a startup company focused on the development of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) systems. Our mission is to create cutting-edge autonomous systems that are capable of self-improvement and operation on mobile and edge devices. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lisp Engineer to join our team and help us develop the next generation of AGI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain AGI algorithms and architectures in Lisp, with a focus on self-improvement and efficient operation on mobile and edge devices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, researchers, and designers to create innovative solutions for various industry applications.
• Optimize existing codebase for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and enhancements, ensuring that they adhere to established coding standards and best practices.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of the AGI systems.
• Stay current on the latest developments in Lisp, AGI research, Cognitive Architectures and mobile and edge computing technologies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development practices and processes.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years of experience working with Lisp.
• Proven experience in developing AGI systems, preferably with a focus on self-improvement and mobile/edge device compatibility.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity.
• Knowledge of current trends and advancements in AGI research and mobile/edge computing.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other programming languages, such as Python or C++.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with mobile and edge computing platforms, such as Android, iOS, or Raspberry Pi.
