Introducing AutomataOS

A new open source product that makes it easier to run Automata in your own environment.

Today we are introducing AutomataOS, a new open source product from SentientWave built to make self-hosting Automata much easier.

We created AutomataOS for teams that want the benefits of Automata but also want more control over where it runs. Some teams need private deployments. Some want local testing. Others want to run closer to their own infrastructure or at the edge.

AutomataOS packages the setup needed to get Automata running into a ready-to-run system. Instead of assembling the full environment piece by piece, teams get a more direct path to a working deployment.

The goal is not to hide complexity with marketing language. The goal is to reduce setup friction so builders and operators can spend more time using Automata and less time preparing the base environment.

AutomataOS is especially useful for self-hosted, on-prem, and edge-style use cases where teams want stronger control over the machine, network, and deployment shape.

This launch complements Automata itself. Automata is the coordination platform. AutomataOS is a simpler way to run that platform in your own environment.

If you want to explore it, you can read more on the product page or jump straight into the repository.
